Jeff Spencer is a native Idahoan who has been training horses professionally since 1974.
Over the years, Jeff has worked with over 3000 horses and students. Jeff's foundational approach to training allows the horse and owner to learn together from the ground up.Working with the owner as well as the horse is crucial for Jeff. The owner must also learn as the horse is learning in order to bridge the gap of disunity and build unity as well as a team mindset in both the horse and rider.
Whether it's starting colts, finishing the "green" broke horse, retraining the ex-racehorse, polishing up and refining formal training or fixing problem horses, Jeff Spencer can do it all. Problem horses are no problem at Spencer Training.
